ML62Q2700群組是高效能CMOS 16位元MCU，搭載16位元CPU nX-U16/100，整合了程式記憶體(快閃記憶體)、資料記憶體(RAM)、資料快閃記憶體(抹除單位：128位元組，寫入單位：1位元組)以及豐富的周邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC產生器、時脈產生器、計時器、通用埠、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元(主機、從機)、電壓位準監控器(VLS)、高速逐次逼近型12位元A/D轉換器、語音播放功能、LCD驅動器、安全功能(IEC60730/60335 Class B)等。
CPU nX-U16/100能透過管線架構平行處理，以1指令1時脈模式有效執行指令。
內建的晶片內建除錯功能可進行軟體除錯和程式設計。此外，ISP(在系統程式設計)功能支援生產線上的快閃記憶體程式設計。
