ML62Q1500/ML62Q1800系列是一款高性能CMOS 16位元微控制器，配備了16位元CPU nX-U16/100，並整合了程式記憶體（Flash記憶體）、資料記憶體（RAM）、資料Flash以及乘法器/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、精簡型RTC、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓位準監控器（VLS）、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、安全功能等豐富的週邊功能。
CPU nX-U16/100採用管線架構平行處理，能夠以1指令1時脈模式高效執行指令。
內建的晶片內除錯功能可實現軟體除錯和程式設計。此外，ISP（系統內程式設計）
功能支援生產線上的Flash程式設計。
ML62Q1500/ML62Q1800系列有五種封裝（48pin - 100pin）和十種記憶體大小（32Kbyte - 512Kbyte）。
