REFACDC022 - Reference Design

Isolated Flyback Type PWM Mode Output 2.5W 5V

This evaluation board’s output voltage is 5V for an input voltage 90Vac to 264Vac and the maximum output current is 0.5A. The BM2P26CK-Z is an AC/DC flyback converter in PWM Mode with integrated 800V MOSFET.

  • The built-in 650V startup circuit in BM2P26CK-Z contributes to low power consumption.
  • Current is restricted in each cycle and excellent performance is achieved in bandwidth and transient response since current mode control is utilized.
  • The switching frequency is operating at 100kHz. At light load, the switching frequency is reduced and high efficiency is achieved.
  • A built-in frequency hopping function contributes to low EMI. Built-in the low on resistor (6.0Ω) and high voltage tolerant MOSFET (800V) make designs easy.
  • The BMP2P26CK-Z has reached (achieved) IEC62368-1 standard authorization.
  • This evaluation board is compliant with CISPR22 Class B which is the test of the noise pin voltage and emission by an optimum EMI design.
