本IC為50V高耐壓車載用的電壓追隨器。輸出電流500mA，並可將消耗電流抑制在45μA(Typ.)，最適合於直接連接電池系統的低消耗電流。偏移電壓為±15mv(輸出5V,6V<VCC<36V,5mA<Io<200mA)，採用了萬一短路時可抑制發熱的フ字型過電流保護電路，即使在嚴酷的環境下也可實現汽車電源電路的高可靠性。
