BD00IA5MHFV-M是可提供0.5A輸出電流的穩壓器。輸出精度為Ta＝-40°C～+105°C下±3%。可使用外接電阻在0.8V～4.5V範圍內任意設置輸出電壓。封裝元件採用小型且散熱性優良的HVSOF6。本機型內建用於防止因輸出短路等發生IC破壞的過流保護電路、關斷時使電路電流為0μA的ON/OFF開關、以及防止因過負荷狀態等使IC發生熱破壞的溫度保護電路。另外，採用了陶瓷電容器，有助於整機的小型化和長壽化。
