ML62Q1300系列是高性能CMOS 16位元微控制器，內建16位元CPU nX-U16/100，整合了程式記憶體（Flash記憶體）、資料記憶體（RAM）、資料Flash，以及豐富的週邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC運算單元、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓監控器（VLS）、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、安全功能等等。
CPU nX-U16/100透過管線架構平行處理，能夠以1指令1時脈模式高效執行指令。
內建的晶片除錯功能可以進行軟體除錯和程式設計。此外，ISP（In-System Programming）功能支援生產線上的Flash程式設計。
ML62Q1300系列有五種封裝（16pin - 32pin）和五種記憶體大小（16Kbyte - 64Kbyte）。
