背景

近年來在AGV、掃地機器人和自駕車等需要自動化工作的廣泛應用中,可以準確測量距離和識別空間的LiDAR日益普及。在此背景下,為了「更遠」、「更準確」地偵測到所需資訊,市場要求作為光源的雷射二極體能提高輸出功率和性能。

概要

「RLD90QZW8」是針對使用3D ToF系統進行測距和空間識別的LiDAR應用所開發的一款120W高輸出功率紅外雷射二極體。利用ROHM獨家元件開發技術,與市場競品相比,本產品的雷射波長溫度影響減少了66%,僅為⊿11.6nm(平均0.10nm/℃)。該優勢有助實現帶通濾光片的小型化,進而有助LiDAR實現遠距離檢測。另外還實現了270μm超窄發光幅度,而且在264μm範圍內(發光幅度的97%)實現了均勻而穩定的發光強度,有助提高LiDAR精度。此外還實現了出色的光電轉換效率(PCE),光輸出的效率更高,有助降低LiDAR功耗。
