I am using ML610Q407P. Why is the VDD pin external capacitance (Cv) specified in "Recommended Operation Condition" of "Appendix C Electrical Characteristics" of ML610Q407/ML610Q408/ML610Q409 User's Manual (Maximum: 1.0 uF ±30% to 2.2 uF ±30%)?
The VDDL voltage of the MCU's internal circuit operating voltage is generated from the VDD voltage. A capacitance value larger than the VDDL pin external capacitance value (CL) needs to be connected to the VDD pin in order to stably supply these voltages. Therefore, the VDD pin external capacitance value (Cv) is specified.
