ML22594-xxx是一款4聲道混合語音合成LSI，內建MASK ROM用於儲存語音資料。
這些LSI整合了HQ-ADPCM解碼器，可實現高音質，以及16位元D/A轉換器、低通濾波器、1.0 W單聲道喇叭放大器，用於驅動喇叭，以及喇叭引腳的過電流偵測功能。透過使用外部ROM進行語音重現，可以實現高品質和長時間的聲音播放。由於語音輸出所需的所有功能都整合在單一晶片中，因此只需使用這些LSI之一，即可為系統升級音訊功能。
