ML2253x 系列是一款4通道混合車電用聲音合成LSI，內建序列音訊介面，有快閃記憶體和外接記憶體兩種型號。
其功能包括HQ-ADPCM、16位元D/A轉換器和用於實現高音質的低通濾波器，以及整合的1.0W單聲道揚聲器放大器，可直接驅動揚聲器。
還內建故障檢測功能，可檢測故障。
音訊輸出所需的所有功能都整合在單晶片上，只需添加此LSI即可輕鬆添加語音功能。
