BD9394EFV是白光LED用高效率驅動器，適用於大型面板液晶驅動器。此IC內建了針對光源（LED串聯連接的陣列）提供適當電壓的DCDC轉換器。BD9394EFV中內建了應對異常狀態的幾種保護功能。過電壓保護（OVP: over voltage protection）、過電流檢測（OCP: over current limit protection of DCDC）、短路電路保護（SCP: short circuit protection）、開路保護（open detection of LED string）等。因此，可在更寬的輸出電壓條件及負載條件下使用。
