ML62Q2700 系列是高性能 CMOS 16 位元 MCU，搭載 16 位元 CPU nX-U16/100，並整合了程式記憶體(Flash 記憶體)、資料記憶體(RAM)、資料 Flash(抹除單位:128 位元組、寫入單位:1 位元組)以及乘法器/除法器、時脈產生器、計時器、通用埠、UART、同步序列埠、I2C 匯流排介面單元(主機、從機)、電壓電位監控器(VLS)、高速連續近似型 12 位元 A/D 轉換器、語音播放功能、LCD 驅動器、安全功能(IEC60730/60335 Class B)等豐富的周邊功能。
CPU nX-U16/100 透過管線架構平行處理，能夠以 1 指令 1 時脈模式高效執行指令。

內建的晶片內除錯功能可進行軟體的除錯和程式設計。此外，ISP (系統內程式設計) 功能支援生產線上的 Flash 程式設計。
