ML62Q2500 系列是高性能 CMOS 16 位元 MCU，搭載 16 位元 CPU nX-U16/100，整合程式記憶體 (Flash 記憶體)、資料記憶體 (RAM)、資料 Flash (抹除單位：128 位元組，寫入單位：1 位元組)，以及乘法器/除法器、CRC 產生器、時脈產生器、計時器、通用埠、UART、同步序列埠、I2C 匯流排介面單元 (主機、從機)、電壓電位監控器 (VLS)、高速漸進式 12 位元 A/D 轉換器、安全功能 (IEC60730/60335 Class B) 等豐富的週邊功能。CPU nX-U16/100 能透過管線架構平行處理，在 1 指令 1 時脈模式下有效率地執行指令。
內建的晶片內偵錯功能可進行軟體偵錯和程式設計。此外，ISP (系統內程式設計) 功能支援生產線上的 Flash 程式設計。
