ML62Q1500/ML62Q1800 系列是高性能CMOS 16位元微控制器，配備16位元CPU nX-U16/100，整合程式記憶體（Flash記憶體）、資料記憶體（RAM）、資料Flash，以及豐富的周邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、簡易型RTC、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓位準監測器 (VLS)、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、安全功能等等。
CPU nX-U16/100 能夠透過管線架構平行處理，以1指令1時脈模式有效率地執行指令。
內建晶片內建除錯功能，可進行軟體除錯和程式設計。此外，ISP（系統內程式設計）
功能支援生產線上的Flash程式設計。
ML62Q1500/ML62Q1800 系列具有五種封裝（48接腳 - 100接腳）和十種記憶體大小（32K位元組 - 512K位元組）。
