ML62Q1500/ML62Q1800 系列是高性能CMOS 16位元微控制器，配備16位元CPU nX-U16/100，並整合了程式記憶體（Flash記憶體）、資料記憶體（RAM）、資料Flash，以及豐富的週邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、簡易型即時時鐘(RTC)、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓準位監視器(VLS)、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、安全功能等等。
CPU nX-U16/100 透過管線架構平行處理，能夠以1指令1時脈模式高效執行指令。
內建的晶片內建偵錯功能可實現軟體偵錯與程式設計。此外，ISP(在系統程式設計)功能支援生產線上的Flash程式設計。
ML62Q1500/ML62Q1800 系列有五種封裝（48接腳-100接腳）和十種記憶體大小（32K位元組-512K位元組）。
