ML62Q1700 Group是高性能CMOS 16位元微控制器，配備了16位元CPU nX-U16/100，並整合了程式記憶體（Flash記憶體）、資料記憶體（RAM）、資料Flash以及豐富的周邊功能，如乘法器/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、簡化RTC、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓位準監控器（VLS）、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、LCD驅動器、安全功能等。
CPU nX-U16/100能夠透過管線架構平行處理，以1指令1時脈模式高效執行指令。
內建的晶片內除錯功能可實現軟體除錯和編程。此外，ISP（In-System Programming）功能支援生產線上的Flash編程。
ML62Q1700 Group有五種封裝（48pin - 100pin）和五種記憶體大小（32Kbyte - 256Kbyte）。
