ML62Q1700 系列是一款高性能CMOS 16位微控制器，配備16位CPU nX-U16/100，並整合了程式記憶體(快閃記憶體)、資料記憶體(RAM)、資料快閃記憶體和豐富的周邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、簡化RTC、計時器、UART、同步串行埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓位準監測器(VLS)、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、LCD驅動器、安全功能等。
CPU nX-U16/100能夠透過管線架構平行處理，以1指令1時脈模式高效執行指令。
內建的晶片上除錯功能可以對軟體進行除錯和編程。此外，ISP (系統內編程) 功能支援在生產線中進行快閃記憶體編程。
ML62Q1700 系列有五種封裝 (48pin - 100pin) 和五種記憶體大小 (32Kbyte - 256Kbyte)。
