ML62Q1700 系列是一款高性能 CMOS 16 位元微控制器，配備 16 位元 CPU nX-U16/100，並整合了程式記憶體（Flash 記憶體）、資料記憶體（RAM）、資料 Flash 以及豐富的周邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC 運算器、DMA 控制器、時脈產生器、簡易型 RTC、計時器、UART、同步串列埠、I2C 匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓準位監控器（VLS）、逐次逼近型 A/D 轉換器、D/A 轉換器、類比比較器、LCD 驅動器、安全功能等。
CPU nX-U16/100 透過管線架構平行處理，能夠以 1 指令 1 時脈模式高效執行指令。
內建的晶片內除錯功能可實現軟體除錯和程式設計。此外，ISP（In-System Programming）功能支援生產線中的 Flash 編程。
ML62Q1700 系列有五種封裝（48pin - 100pin）和五種記憶體容量（32Kbyte - 256Kbyte）。
