ML62Q1500/ML62Q1800群組是一款高性能CMOS 16位微控制器，配備16位CPU nX-U16/100，並整合了程式記憶體(快閃記憶體)、資料記憶體(RAM)、資料快閃記憶體以及豐富的周邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、簡易型RTC、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓位準監控器(VLS)、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、安全功能等等。
CPU nX-U16/100能夠透過管線式架構並行處理，在1指令1時脈模式下高效執行指令。
內建的晶片內除錯功能可以對軟體進行除錯和編程。此外，ISP（系統內編程）功能支援生產線上的快閃記憶體編程。
ML62Q1500/ML62Q1800群組有五種封裝（48pin - 100pin）和十種記憶體大小（32Kbyte - 512Kbyte）。
