ML62Q1300系列是一款高效能CMOS 16位元微控制器，搭載16位元CPU nX-U16/100，並整合程式記憶體(快閃記憶體)、資料記憶體(RAM)、資料快閃記憶體，以及乘法/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓準位監控器(VLS)、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、安全功能等豐富的週邊功能。
CPU nX-U16/100能透過管線架構並行處理，以1指令1時脈模式有效執行指令。
內建的晶片內除錯功能可進行軟體的除錯與程式燒錄。此外，ISP(在線燒錄)功能支援生產線上的快閃記憶體燒錄。
ML62Q1300系列有五種封裝(16pin - 32pin)和五種記憶體大小(16Kbyte - 64Kbyte)。
