ML62Q1300系列是高性能CMOS 16位元微控制器，配備16位元CPU nX-U16/100，整合程式記憶體（Flash記憶體）、資料記憶體（RAM）、資料Flash，以及豐富的週邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓準位監控器（VLS）、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、安全功能等。
CPU nX-U16/100能以管線架構平行處理，在1指令1時脈模式下高效執行指令。
內建的晶片內建除錯功能支援軟體除錯和程式設計。此外，ISP（系統內程式設計）功能支援生產線上的Flash程式設計。
ML62Q1300系列有五種封裝（16引腳-32引腳）和五種記憶體大小（16K位元組-64K位元組）。
