ML62Q1300系列是高性能CMOS 16位元微控制器，配備16位元CPU nX-U16/100，並整合了程式記憶體(Flash記憶體)、資料記憶體(RAM)、資料Flash以及豐富的周邊功能，例如乘法器/除法器、CRC運算器、DMA控制器、時脈產生器、計時器、UART、同步序列埠、I2C匯流排介面單元、蜂鳴器、電壓準位監控器(VLS)、逐次逼近型A/D轉換器、D/A轉換器、類比比較器、安全功能等。
CPU nX-U16/100透過管線架構平行處理，能夠以1指令1時脈模式高效執行指令。
內建的晶片除錯功能可以對軟體進行除錯和程式設計。此外，ISP（系統內編程）功能支援在生產線上進行Flash編程。
ML62Q1300系列有五種封裝（16引腳 - 32引腳）和五種記憶體大小（16K位元組 - 64K位元組）。
