BD3378MUV-M是22通道的開關輸入監測LSI。其作用是監測各通道所連接的機械開關的狀態變化、使MCU產生中斷。使用序列介面讀取中斷因素並寫入內部寄存器。22通道的開關輸入分為VPUB、VPUA兩種電源系統，可按電池系統和電源控制系統分類使用。動作模式備有常規模式和睡眠模式兩種。各模式可透過設定寄存器，使用開關端子連續監測設定和間歇監測設定。使用間歇監測設定時是以固定週期監測開關狀態變化，可降低功耗。而且，透過使用各種電源系統時序動作和全部開關統一時序動作設定，還能實現低雜訊動作。
