BD5469GUL是內建了手機、行動式電子裝置等移動、音頻產品用ALC功能的單聲道D類喇叭放大器。喇叭輸出無需使用LC濾波器，可由3個外接部件構成單聲道喇叭放大器。ALC是Automatic Level Control的縮寫，該功能可在輸入過大時自動調整至輸出波形失真（削波）的減少電平。其具有降低削波噪音實現高音質、防止過大輸出以保護喇叭的優點。至輸出電平的限制解除動作的時間稱作釋放時間（或恢復時間）。本IC採用適合播放音樂的釋放時間(262ms/1dB Typ)。與D類動作相比效率高、功耗低，最適於電池驅動應用。關斷時的消耗電流低至0.01µA (Typ)，從關斷到動作的啟動快且爆破音小，適用於重複進行關斷、激活的用途。
