業界最小雙色晶片LED對機器設備小型化・薄型化的貢獻

SML-D2系列除了元件小型化之外,亦使用長年研發培育的PICOLED ® *1)安裝技術及打線﹙wire bonding﹚ *2)技術,將紅綠雙色晶片LED安裝於與單色晶片LED相同尺寸之1.6x0.8mm封裝。
此外,由於將雙色光源安裝於1.2x0.8mm發光部,因此顏色的互換作用佳,除了此次開發之LED的紅綠色外,亦可創造中間色。

利用防止焊料滲入措施確保高可靠度

藉由在鍍金處理之前設置阻隔料﹙resist﹚的阻隔層﹙stopper﹚遮斷來自浸潤性佳的金焊盤﹙Gold Pattern﹚的焊料入侵。
也由於其可以防止焊料滲入樹脂內部,因此亦可消除短路所導致的異常,有助於提升可靠度。
