Overview

To meet the increasing demands by electronic devices for lower power consumption and reduced voltage operation ROHM offers low current CMOS opamps capable of operation from only 1.7V.
The units are available in the new HVSOF5 package - the smallest in the industry.
This new type is only 0.6mm thick - equivalent to passive components - significantly contributing to greater miniaturization in a variety of applications, including portable equipment and compact sensors.

Key Feature 1 : Thin, ultra-compact HVSOF5 package

ROHM's lineup of ultra-compact low voltage CMOS opamps are specially designed for applications requiring increased miniaturization, including sensor boards, modules, and portable equipment.
Surface mount area and height are reduced by approximately 2/3rds and 1/2 of conventional types, respectively, making low-profile mounting possible. In fact, a package thickness of only 0.6mm makes ROHM's CMOS opamps about the same size as peripheral resistors and capacitors.

Key Feature 2 : Low voltage operation possible from 1.7V

The trend towards lower voltage and power consumption in portable battery-driven devices has accelerated the demand for low current, low voltage components. To meet this demand ROHM offers CMOS opamps capable of operation from 1.7V - ideal for sets utilizing 2 dry cell batteries (1.5V to 2).
