Notice Regarding Purchase of Treasury Stock
(Purchase of shares pursuant to the provisions of Article 210 of the Commercial Code)

This is to notify that the company, at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on May 12, 2005, decided that the proposal to purchase its own shares pursuant to the provisions of Article 210 of the Commercial Code of Japan be made to shareholders at the 47th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on June 29, 2005 as follows.
